Importance of the True Guru

Just wanted to share an instance. It all happen after I watched a Movie that everyone would be aware of “Lagey Raho Munna Bhai” (Nicely done movie). The most important thing it made me realized was that God (Waheguru Ji) has blessed us with everything. We all are well equipped with all the required equipments needed to reach our ultimate Goal (To merge into him).

As the movie shows even a bad guy, who has only done kidnappings, etc through out his life could follow the life of Mahatma Gandhi. This proves that he was sent with all those qualities and thinking abilities. His faith and belief in the teachings and principles of Mahatma Gandhi made him a perfect student.

So, how important it is for us to have the love and blessings of a true Guru who can feed us with the right, true teachings and principles for us to reach our ultimate goal. Now, I understand that why our Guru said: Aisey gur ko bal bal jayiae, aap mukat mohey tarey (Meaning: I am sacrifice to the true Guru who has achieved the ultimate destiny and can also help me achieve it) So, what I have realized is that to become a true Sikh first we need to realize who our True Guru is and then madly fall in love with him like Munna in the movie.

A blessed Chemical Locha
Just imagine when the problem solver (Guru Sahib) is sitting next to you to solve all your issues related to anything. The only thing you need to do is see look behind and rather then saying “Kya kehetey ho Bapu”, just say “Guru Raam Das Rakho Sarnaaee” or “Sri Harkrish Dhyayea jis dithey sabh dukh jaye” or “Teg bahadur simereyae gar nou nidh avey dhayae” or anything you wish and you get the best solution. WOW is the word that comes in my mind, having solution for everything and mental strength to overcome worst of the situations (Aur kya chaheye re MAMU).

Imagine the ocean of knowledge, right from practical intellects to social values to financials to self dignity to bravery and so on (The list is never ending), as a part of you. Isn’t it the most blessed Chemical Locha that can ever happen to someone?

Conclusion

They were the few souls (like our Gurus) who were blessed by the GUR-PRASAD (GUR= Method, Technique, etc; PRASAD= Blessing) to feel the presence and understand the intentions/ expectations of Waheguru ji.

We all were so impressed by “Gandhi Giri”, which few of us actually started implementing in our lives (Good job done). But, haven’t we forgotten the blessed and most advanced concept of “Miri Piri” given to us by Guru Sahib?

Or are we waiting for another movie, may be “Lagey Raho Singh Sahib”. If yes, then I think we all need to wake up as this movie is available to us for last 300+ years. Our gurus and many Gur Sikh brothers and sisters have already played this role. I think it’s our time to show the world what Miri Piri is, and become the professors our Gurus wanted.

I hope I am able to convey the message I wanted to, and by no means have offended anyone’s feelings because this is not my purpose. And seek your forgiveness if I have mentioned anything wrong as the Chemical Locha is yet to happen.

All feedbacks are appreciated.

Bhul chuk maaf.

Waheguru... Our Gurus loved him so much.. Most of the time, the question that comes in my mind is Why cant i love waheguru ji that much.. What is holding me... even when Guru Sahib says:
Tu Kahe doleh Praniya,
Thudh Rakhega Sirjanhaar

Jin Paidaish tu kiya,
Soee deh adhaar

Need all his blessings as Gurusahib says:
Jisnu tu janae
Soee Jan janeh
